Fokalks and chemigrams are the product of destructive darkroom processes. A fokalk is created by distressing a negative, usually a blank one, and then printing the result. Techniques involve cutting, burning, stretching, creasing, and other actions to the negative. Chemigrams are made by hand painting developer and fixer on an exposed sheet of light-sensitive paper.
